I’ve always loved Halloween. It’s the one day you can be anything you want, and with my black cat, Banshee, every day feels a little like Halloween. I’ve always made my own costumes, from Medusa to David Bowie to the Bride of Frankenstein.
Over the last couple of years, I haven’t gone all out for Halloween while navigating my mental health. But I’m excited for this year! Creating this Halloween-inspired piece reminded me just how much I love the spooky season, the creativity, and the freedom to be a little weird.
